Remember....

Getting so nervous waiting for the basketball game to begin.

When the game starts and your heart starts pumping even faster than it should. Watching my team getting up their hopes. Keeping my eyes on the ball travelling up and down the court. Waiting until the ball gets in the hoop.

Getting subbed onto the court, feeling sweat dripping down my body. My legs feel like jelly running up and down tripling the ball. Thinking how good a nice sip of ice cold water would feel going in my mouth. Having the thoughts of putting a freezing ice pack on my face and having an ice bath would be a dream come true.

Shape Poem

I made a poem about diamonds in the shape of a diamond today.

I enjoyed this and I would do it again.

Cinquain

Animals at WAR

Myself, Milan O and Indie made a slide show about Animals at war. Totara 1 have been learning and doing actives about Anzac and the war. All of us all worked really hard on this and did our own slides.

Dear Dad

I miss you, it's been a while since I’ve seen you dad. I’ve been thinking of you since you've left.

I wanted to say happy birthday for the past couple of years. I hope you have been enjoying your canned food at WAR. It’s my birthday today and my birthday wish is for you to come. My birthday present was to write you a letter. I love you so much and I want you to know that. I have faith in you and I hope you come back safely. The family has been missing you so much, mum has been so brave. I would never ask for anything else. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have such a good dad like you. Mum has been such a good mum to me. I wish you luck and I hope you come back.

For the first week on term 2, we as a class picked to do ANZAC work for the week. I really enjoy doing ANZAC work. I wrote a letter to my dad as if my dad was in the WAR.

Fiji Report

Over the past two weeks we got to chose a report topic of our choice. I chose Fiji because I already know a lot about Fiji because I have been there before with my dads side of the family.

Fiji is an amazing place filled with fun, relaxation and loads more. It is in the south pacific ocean and it is a very warm place. You can go there for holidays and Fiji has a population of around 889,953 people. It is very popular for tourists and has many exotic things.

The beautiful country called Fiji is located pretty much in the middle of the North and South pacific oceans, it is also near the coral reef. Therefore making it quite warm and a very enjoyable place to visit.

Fiji is a popular tourist destination because of its warm temperature and amazing scenery and wonderful people because everyone is welcomed and taken in as their own, because they welcome people so easily there are now around 889,953 people living there. Many people know about this place and heaps would like to visit it someday.

They are heaps of cool and exciting things to do in this beautiful paradise and believe it or not you can even scuba dive with manta rays which I would love to do. You can even visit Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple in the heart of Nadi and if you feel like relaxing you could go to the Hot springs!

I would love to go back to Fiji and do some things I didn't do when I was there and i'm sure you would love to go there too. I can now understand why it is very popular and many tourists go there each year.
